Agios Nikolaos (Greek: Άγιος Νικόλαος) is a village in the municipal unit of Eleios-Pronnoi on the island Cephalonia, Greece. Its population is 181 people (2001 census). Its elevation is 280 m. The boundary with the municipality Sami is to the northwest.

Agios Nikolaos is 12 km WNW of Poros east of Argostoli and Lixouri.
The village has about 67 km of paved road, about 8 to 10 km of gravel road and has about 8 km of hydro and phone lines.
Much of the area are mountainous and are grassy and has a few pines, farmlands are around the village.
The village was destroyed in the 1953 Ionian earthquake and emigration occurred at a higher rate until the 1970s, the village recovered a small part of the population between 1991 and 2001. Agios Nikolaos became connected with asphalt in the 1980s. Electricity, radio and automobiles were introduced in the mid-20th century, television in the late-20th century and computer and internet at the turn of the millennium. In the mid to late 1990s, the ex-community (now a village and a municipal district) joined to become the newly formed municipality of Eleios-Pronnoi.
There is an elementary school, a church named Saint Nicholas and a big square. The nearest high school is in Poros.
Its economy is based mainly on agricultural products.
